January is Radon Action Month according to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Hamilton country Ohio, and many of the surrounding counties, are considered to be in the red zone (zone 1) according to the EPA, which means there is a high likelihood that radon is present in unsafe levels.

The owner of Area Wide Home Inspection, Adam Crock, shares a personal story and real-life example about how radon has effected his family. Crock also describes the process involved in testing for radon.
